Rail Car Thaw Shed Heater Applications
One of Space-Ray’s customers was previously using undercar heaters to deice their railcars, which was resulting in chargebacks due to damages to the railcars. Sometimes, the chargebacks were as much as $40,000 to $45,000 per month. In addition, there were no controls to operate the old heating system.
